Join the Urban Wine Club and Kay Quigley for a cocktail demonstration featuring Flor de Caña rums.
During the event, we will showcase three various cocktails, including a rum espresso martini, and a tiki-style coffee cocktail.

Flor de Caña is a fifth generation, family owned rum distillery from Nicaragua. They are Fair Trade Certified, setting and maintaining the standard for sustainable rum production. The goal for this event, is to enjoy a premium rum while rethinking how we can sustainably produce cocktails

  • Espresso Martini (Twist on a classic!)
    1oz FDC 12yr
    1oz FDC Spresso Coffee
    0.5oz Cheeky Simple Syrup
    0.5oz espresso or cold brew coffee (room temp or cold)
    Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker
    Add ice
    Shake vigorously for 10 seconds to chill and dilute
    Strain into cocktail glass
    No garnish
  • New England Rum Sour
    1.5oz FDC 12yr
    1oz Cheeky Cran / Lemon Syrup
    0.5oz Cheeky Lemon Juice
    1 egg white / aquafaba (chick pea water) for vegan cocktail
    Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker
    Add ice
    Shake vigorously for 10 seconds to chill and dilute
    Strain into cocktail shaker
    Shake without ice for 10 seconds
    Strain into cocktail glass & enjoy!
  • Coffee Grog (Tiki Style)
    1oz FDC 12yr
    1oz FDC Spresso
    0.5oz pineapple juice (canned is okay)
    0.5oz Cheeky Lemon Juice
    0.5oz Cheeky Honey Syrup
    2 dashes angostura bitters
    pinch of salt
    Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker
    Add ice
    Shake vigorously for 10 seconds to chill and dilute
    Dump contents of shaker into tall glass / tall tiki mug
    Garnish with Fresh Mint leaves & enjoy!
