The Daughters of Penelope, Orion Chapter 130, Boston invites you to Savor the Essence of Greece! Join us for the very first Greek wine experience dedicated to today’s leading female winemakers of Greece. There is a growing number of women now either producing wines or running wineries in Greece. Many have been doing it for years but have had very little awareness in the industry. This is a unique opportunity to discover and explore some of the best wine selections coming from Greece that continue to elevate the country’s reputation as high-quality producers thanks to these amazing women. Our walk around format will provide a more in depth understanding and enjoyment of these wonderful wines that will cater to anyone interested in wine, regardless of experience. Some of the wineries that will be featured in this experience are Alpha Estate, Domaine Skouras, Daskalakis Winery, Iliana Malahin Winery, and more. The goal for the event is not only to provide a unique and elevated experience for the guests but also to come together as a community and support the mission of the Daughters of Penelope.

Every year our chapter generously donates to DOP Foundation/Scholarship, Maids of Athena, Penelope House, Penelope’s Place, Penelopean Day Care Center, Water by Women, Community House Damaris (Greece), Open Door (Greece), Little Greeks United and The LAM Foundation. All the funds raised at this event will enable us to continue reaching our goals and helping others.
